We’re delighted to announce that SCG has been named Best SME Vertical Market Customer Solution at the Comms Dealer Channel National Awards 2026.

The award recognises our education-focused safeguarding solution, which enhances the Evonex Cloud telephony platform by integrating it with school Management Information Systems (MIS) and safeguarding platforms. By bringing critical information together, the solution helps schools improve communication, support staff and respond more effectively to safeguarding responsibilities.

Technology Built Around the Needs of Schools

Schools face increasing demands when managing student wellbeing, communication and safeguarding processes. From the outset, the focus was on understanding these challenges and developing a solution that could make a measurable difference in day-to-day school operations.

Working closely with education professionals across the UK, the solution was shaped by real-world feedback and practical experience. This collaborative approach helped ensure the platform addressed genuine operational requirements, giving staff quicker access to the information they need and enabling more connected communication across the school environment.

Innovation Driven by Collaboration

The success of the solution is rooted in partnership with the education sector.

Engagement with school leaders, safeguarding teams and education professionals provided valuable insight into how communications technology could better support schools. Those conversations informed the development of a solution designed to fit seamlessly into existing workflows while helping schools manage information more effectively.

The result is a platform that strengthens cloud communications while supporting safer, more connected learning environments.

Recognition for the Teams Behind the Solution

This award reflects the expertise, dedication and collaboration of the teams involved in bringing the solution to life.

From product development and engineering to customer success and education specialists, every stage of the project was guided by a shared commitment to understanding customer challenges and delivering technology that creates tangible value.

We’d like to thank the judges and organisers of the Channel National Awards for this recognition and congratulate all finalists and winners.

Most importantly, we’d like to thank the schools and education professionals who shared their feedback, ideas and experience throughout the development process. Their insight helped shape the solution and played a vital role in achieving this recognition.

As we continue to invest in education technology, we remain focused on helping schools improve communication, strengthen safeguarding processes and create better outcomes for staff and students across the UK.
